Our Egyptologist will pick you up from your place of stay in Cairo to start your tour to Cairo Citadel, sprawling over a limestone spur on Cairo's eastern edge, was home to Egypt’s rulers for 700 years, as part of your tour to the citadel you will visit the Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali before you head over to the Mosque of Ibn Tulun which is the city’s oldest intact, functioning Islamic monument, your tour will also cover another nearby attraction which is the Gayer-Anderson Museum, the museum gets its current name from John Gayer-Anderson, the British major and army doctor who restored the two adjoining 16thcentury houses, filling them with lovely antiquities.

Following the first part of the day you will grab lunch at a local restaurant before you proceed to visit the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan, a monumental mosque and religious school, deemed the crown jewel of Cairo’s Islamic architecture.

Then you will conclude your tour with a visit to Al-Rifa'i Mosque, located opposite the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan, the mosque was architecturally conceived as a complement to the older structure.

After that you will be transferred back to your place of stay in Cairo.
